Six Quick Shots: Tales of the American West Volume 1 is a compilation of western, historical fiction stories of various lengths and storytelling styles. All are set in frontier America during the westward movement and the Colorado Gold Rush. Each adventure introduces new characters with their unique perspectives on the adventure that was frontier America.

These stand-alone tales require no other reading to enjoy. However, some include characters who appear elsewhere in the Tailing Times series. So, if you read other stories in the series, you will find special enjoyment from the crossover of characters and plots.

Bonus!

Have you ever watched an old TV western and wondered how many shots the hero fired from his six-gun? Lucky you, this collection includes a bonus shot. Although, the bonus story is a bit more fanciful than the others. So, that makes seven quick shots. But who’s counting?
